​In Deutschland sind die Brötchen bei McDonald's nicht grundsätzlich vegan. Viele Burger werden in Brötchen serviert, die Milch und/oder Ei enthalten. Beispielsweise wird der McPlant-Burger standardmäßig mit einer Scheibe Käse zubereitet, die Milchprodukte enthält .
